The Gess Garden is put to bed for the winter!
A big shout out to Gib Earl for helping us move the shed
to be part of the garden! Mr. Pugh and Mr. Linehan, too!
You are awesome!
Thanks to Sheryl Templeton for writing the grant that created the garden
and all the volunteers that helped create it!
Thanks also to Jessica and Mary Sety, as well as Leanne Verbeck for
donating bulbs that will bloom in the spring.
Also, to Margo Sety for painting our shed sign, and Mary Kersey for the weathervane on the shed.
Thanks especially to the students who joined the garden club to weed the garden
and plant bulbs during their recesses!
If you are a gardener interested in helping out in the spring or summer,
let us know! Send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org or give
Jeff a call at 685-6800 ext. 4110.
A Note from the School Nurse
Winter is setting in and it is time
to make sure that your children are dressed appropriately. Children need to
have a break from their classrooms and are expected to go out to recess if the
temperature is above 10 degrees. During this winter weather, please remember to
have your child wear warm coats, hats, gloves, and NO shorts. If this is a
hardship for you, please call me at 685-6800, ext 4015. We have coats, mittens, hats and boots
available. Thank you.
