Chewelah Summer Meals Program

 

      The Chewelah School District announced the sponsorship of the Simplified Summer Food Service Program for Children. Meals will be available at no charge to to attending children 18 years old and younger. Meals will be served Monday - Friday from June 15 to July 17 (excluding July 3rd).
 
Breakfast:
8:00-8:30 at Gess Elementary, 405 E Lincoln
 
Lunch:
12:00-12:30 at Gess Elementary and Jenkins High School, 702 E Lincoln
11:30-12:30 at the Chewelah City Park, 3rd and Lincoln
 
All meals are prepared at the Gess Elementary kitchen. For questions call 685-6800.

For the second year in a row, Gess Elementary has been recognized as
a High Progress school with special recognition in the area of our Math growth.
This award is given to the top 10% of the Title 1 elementary schools in the state.
This is a result of staff, students, and parents working together!

Our weather station is a  Davis Vantage Vue 6250 that gives us accurate weather data to use with the students
and as a service to the community!
